Crabtree and Evelyn is an internationally renowned brand, well known for its range of original fragrances, luxurious toiletries and gourmet foods. It has numerous retail outlets across the UK and around the world and also supplies its products to a variety of trade customers, ranging from large department stores to small high-street independents.
Aspin launched its InterSell trade eCommerce platform for Crabtree and Evelyn in 2009.
The system enables trade customers to log into a different homepage, showing different promotions and news items according to their account settings. Customers can browse and download news items and marketing literature, view their account and place orders from an extensive product catalogue.
We spoke to Adrian Keene, Crabtree and Evelyn’s Strategic Technology Manager, about the implementation of the InterSell trade ordering system, the challenges that had been faced and also what they hope to achieve with the website in the future.
